1. The history of man and God is a history of God calling mankind to Himself
    a. The church is the “Calling of God: – Acts 2:39, John 12:32
    b. Today we will see that the church is “The Kingdom of God”

I. The church established

        i. ekklesia – the called out

II. The inauguration of the Kingdom

III. So, is the church the kingdom?

Conclusion
1. ekklesia is a combination of ek which means ‘out of’, and kaleo which means ‘to call’
2. Our English word ‘church’ literally means “called out ones”
